Our Campsite

We have two fields open to the public: one is our regular camping field (which is open from April to November) and the other is our Rally (or events) Field for our school groups, large outdoor groups or for Birthdays or Wedding events.

The Campsite is divided into various areas:

THE HOOK UP AREA: Please book early for this area as hook ups go fast.

GOD’S WINDOW: This area, overlooking what the old Celts used to call God’s Land and the River Wye Valley, is suited for small groups or single tents.

MODESGATE: Is an area for small groups or single tents. It is named after an old Anglo-saxon village found in the area.

STONEHENGE: This is ideal for medium sized groups, it is near a big beech tree and has a large fire pit.

MONKSROAD: Great for groups with Tents, is by an ancient track along which the old monks used to travel to Tintern Abbey.

HAWTHORN: Perfect for families and larger tents and vans, situated against a hedge that offers good shelter and near a Hawthorn Tree with a large flat playing area.

OAKS CORNER: A quiet corner with a towering old oak and a little view across a horses paddock.

The Rally Field is a large field, ideal for bigger groups with plenty of room for children to play. It has access to all the campsite facilities as well as its own toilet block and is also supported by portable loos when the site is busy. This field has four areas to choose from; Top of the field with access to electric hook ups, the forest corner, the middle section and the lower level with a lovely view of the valley.

It is expected that everyone respects the CAMPSITE RULES; after 10pm at night, NO NOISE IS PERMITTED to ensure the nights chorus of crickets and our resident owl is enjoyed by all campers. (Remembering that we believe you have left behind the ‘town and city’ for a purpose – in accordance with our Beeches ethos, to always respect the tranquil surroundings).

Marquee For Hire

We have an option to hire a marquee for large parties/events
